GTM in Journals
Welcome to the Grounded Theory in Information Systems (IS) Research website.
This site aims to provide grounded theory researchs in IS with an overview and details on GTM studies, published in information systems journals.
You will find an introduction to GTM, an analysis of GTM articles published in IS Journals, and an analysis of GTM articles published at International Conference on Information Systems .
This work started with an initial dataset of 43 Grounded Theory papers that were published in European Journal of Information Systems, Information and Management, Journal of Management Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, MIS Quarterly, Organization Science, Journal of the Association of Information Systems, Information Systems Research, Decision Support Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Information Technology, and Management Science.
The results of this study were published in 2017: Wiesche, Jurisch, Yetton, Krcmar (2017) Grounded Theory Methodology in Information Systems Research. MIS Quarterly, Volume 41, Issue 3, pp. 685-701.
The article is available for download HERE.
This website is a continuously developing document that seeks to provide an overview of studies published in information systems journals.
If you have published or know of other studies that should be listed here, please contact Manuel Wiesche: manuel.wiesche@tu-dortmund.de
